Polyolefin films are characterized by their strength, transparency and gloss and therefore it is similar to PVC films. However, the materials are more environmentally friendly as it is made of LDPE, PP and LLDPE layers and are shrinkable. However, it does not have the ability to fully copy the shape of the wrapped product. It is suitable for general packaging from hand-held, semi-automatic to high-speed automatic machines. Polyolefin films are used for a single or group packing of goods, for instance toys, cosmetics, and food.
